Parisian style home decoration – with l’Eau Sézane

좋아하는 프랑스 브랜드 세잔(Sezane). 

세잔의 향수는 프레시한 향도 좋지만 바틀 자체도 인테리어 소품으로 손색없다.

So I recently added this mint colored low book shelf next to my old dressing table to have my own healing place at home, and it definitely does its job.

I wanted to decorate this place like “Little Paris“, which reminds me of my old days in Paris where I lived for many years. I filled with my favorite books in the bookshelf, and on the top, placed some of my favorite things like pictures of Paris (the left one is the painting set in “Pont Alexandre III” which is one of my favortie places in Paris), vintage jewelry box and my current favorite perfume by Sézane.

This is what I’m going to talk about today because I’m recently obsessed with it – “l’Eau Sézane“, the perfume :

좋아하는 Sea green 색으로 페인트칠을 하고 좋아하는 그림으로 파리 분위기 내기. 
화장대에 앉을때만큼은 파리에 있는 기분을 느끼고 싶어서.   
올드 파리 느낌이 물씬 나는 그림이랑, 클래식한 세잔의 향수만 툭 놓아도 
이미 파리에 와 있는 느낌.

Scent of Paris : Sophisticated floral scent immediately freshen up your mood.

It’s the signature floral scent of Sézane, made from natural vegetable wax. This is very fresh floral fragrance not too strong nor too weak, and I can also smell of a little bit of citrus.

At the first place, I purchased it with the intention of using as a perfume for clothes and room spray because I’m already using my signature perfume. However, as soon as I opened the box and smelled the scent, I just fell in love with its freshness!

Now I’m wearing it everyday and sometimes layering with my own perfume of YSL, which is also amazingly goes well together.

In my opinion, the scent of l’Eau Sézane has rather modern/urbane image, and natural/idyllic aspect at the same time. For me, it just evokes a Parisienne itself. A shy Parisienne/Parisien who loves nature and walking around the park alone. I prefer the fragrance of nature like the plants, flowers and herbs than classy and trendy one, however, l’Eau Sézane is very well balanced wih both modern and natural elements. Unartificial modernism – Paris itself.

향수 브랜드가 아닌 곳에서 향수를 구입하는 건 처음인데, 
세잔에서 소포를 받을때마다 박스에서 나는 향기가 너무 좋아 알아보니 
자체 브랜드의 향수였던 것. 
그냥 물건만 보내주는게 아니라 브랜드 향수를 살짝 뿌려 주는 센스라니. 
몰랐을 땐 사실 바틀이 너무 예뻐 그냥 인테리어 소품으로 사려고 했는데 
향이 너무나 취향저격이다. 
프레시하고, 모던하면서도 클래식한 내츄럴함이 느껴지는 향. 
너무 강하지도 약하지도 않고, 세련된 플로럴 향.  
떠오르는 이미지라면, 
과한 멋 전혀 없는, 자연을 사랑하는 전형적인 파리지엔 느낌. 
이 향수는 코트나 옷에 살짝 뿌려주면 좋을 것 같다. 나는 옷방에 종종 뿌려주고 있다.

It came with this beautiful box by the way. Do you guys know that Sézane packages transform to the decorative boxes when you turn it inside out? Well I had no idea, and I regret that I threw out the first box I received. They send the products with the various version of boxes, and those randomly sent boxes are all parisian vintage style. I actually expect the box I’ll receive when I’m waiting for my orders from Sézane.

구석에 쌓아만 놓아도 예쁘다. 
나는 박스를 버리지 않고
 편지나 잡다한 물품들, 모자 등을 보관하는 용도로 사용하고 있다.

And of course, it’s also perfect for the decoration. The neat flacon, label and its gold cap are all simple yet sophisticated enough, which make your place more atmospheric.

Loving this perfume, so I immediately placed an order the scented candle from Sézane that has the same fragrance which is now one of my favorite candles. I’ll talk about scented candles I like at the another post later.

At this difficult time with pandemic, most of people are stuck at home and I believe these kind of little things that change the mood of your everyday place will make you feel much better and freshen up your life.
